The importance of tire inflation

1) Please regularly (at least once a month) check the air pressure of all tires when they are cold, including the spare tire. Please refer to the parameter recommended by the vehicle manufacturer for the correct inflation pressure value of the tire when it is cold. If the air pressure decreases too quickly, please find out the reason (for example: whether there are nails, cuts, valve rubber aging, cracking, etc.).

(2) Definition of tire cooling condition: after at least three hours after parking or when the tire is driven for no more than 2 kilometers. If you can only measure the tire pressure when the tire is hot, please subtract about 0.3 bar (=4psi) from the measured tire pressure value to get the tire cooling inflation pressure.

(3) Any tire running low pressure will generate excessive heat and may eventually lead to sudden tire failure. In addition, no matter whether the tire inflation pressure is too high or too low, it will cause the local tire tread to wear too fast, thereby shortening the service life of the tire.
