Tire Bead Seating Tool Usage Steps

1. Inspection and Preparation:

Check the bead seating tool for airtightness, and inspect the air nozzle and hose for damage.

Inflate the compressed air tank, ensuring the pressure gauge reading reaches the specified requirement (usually 6-8 bar, depending on tire size).

2. Positioning and Placement:

Place the tire flat on a workbench or the ground, ensuring the valve stem is facing upwards.

Use your hands or a tool to pull the tire beads apart as much as possible, bringing them closer to the rim edge.

3. Operating the Bead Seating Tool (Core Step):

Point the bead seating tool's nozzle (usually a gun-shaped or flared nozzle) at the gap between the tire and the rim.

The moment the air valve is opened, high-pressure gas bursts out, forcing the tire bead against the rim.

4. Subsequent Inflation:

After bead seating is complete, quickly use a regular air pump to continuously inflate the tire through the valve stem until the tire bead is completely sealed and at the standard tire pressure (usually 35-40 psi).

5. Key Precautions:

Safety Protection:  Always wear safety glasses and gloves during operation, as the instantaneous force is very strong.

Ensure Sealing: Before operation, it is recommended to apply a small amount of lubricant or soapy water to the tire bead to help with sealing.

Control Pressure: Avoid excessive air pressure inside the tire to prevent unnecessary tire damage or safety hazards.
